Clinical Informatics

The Clinical Informatics Fellowship (CIF) is a two-year program designed to train US Board Certified or eligible physicians. The program is designed to train physicians who are seeking in-depth expertise in clinical informatics and leadership experience. Applicants will have completed training in a primary specialty prior to enrolling into CIF and will be board-eligible or certified.

The blend of business and clinical informatics emphasis in the program uniquely prepares physicians looking to acquire the skills and experience to serve in new or additional clinical and/or administrative leadership roles, such as Chief Medical Information Officer, Chief Health Information Officer, or Chief Information Officer.
